TEACHER TRAINING FOR CLIMATE EDUCATION

September 15, 2018
New York Hall of Science, Queens

We brought a group of inspiring classroom educators for grades 5-9 together for a free professional development workshop. After a visit to the Flushing Meadows Corona Park Climate Signals site, they learned best practices for climate change education, participated in hands-on and digital activities that can be incorporated into various content areas, and received lesson plans that are ready to use in classrooms and for field trips to exhibition sites.

This event was presented in partnership with the New York Hall of Science.
